House speciality curry.

Check out the amount of reduction in the finished dish.  Looks, to die for.

This one was uploaded in march by Ali of the Viceroy.

Ah yes, so he did.

Wouldn't it be nice if Ali had his own dedicated video section on this forum, for easy reference? I'm also thinking this because, a). he's done loads and loads of high quality videos, b). he's a member of the forum, c). he's invited members of the forum to his restaurant/kitchen, and d). he's done it all for free.

Indeed.  It would be nice if the whole content of the site could be addressed in an SQL-like manner [1], rather than in the strict hierarchical way that we have to access it at the moment.  Unfortunately that is way beyond the abilities of the version of SMF that is currently deployed, and probably beyond any extant version of SMF.  The only way in which I can see that it could be done at present is to ask Admin to create a new category called (e.g.,) "Recipes by author", within which there would be $n threads, one for each author of multiple recipes.  Initially each thread would be populated with the recipes by that author that are currently held on the site, but if an author then creates a new recipe, he (or she) can then use the "Quote" facility to clone the previous page documenting his/her recipes, remove the surrounding "quote" tags, and add a new entry linking to his/her most recent recipe(s).  Thus to find the most up-to-date list of any author's recipes, one simply navigates to the most recent post in the thread.

What's interesting is that this video was published by Ali in March, but only recently republished by the "recipe repo" a few days ago. Who are the "recipe repo" anyway? They seem to have republished some of vahreva chef's videos as well. Youtube is a good platform for money making with your contents, particularly if you are posting content that does not belong/has nto been created by you. On the other hand, I also just looked for "pabda20" on the subscription box on youtube's frontpage and the pabda20 account does not list among my subscriptions any more. Perhaps there has been a name change on pabda's account? I can still find their videos and I can confirm I'm still subscribed. Is anyone experiencing the same?

Ali is still there as pabda20. Recipe repo appear to be content thieves.

My suspicions exactly. Thanks for helping clarifying.

Looks like "recipe repo" means rip off.

Ali's Nawabi vid has been downloaded, given a new title "Indian Street food" then uploaded to this "recipe repo" channel.
I remember CBM had this problem of content theft on the Tube a while back.

Anyhoo, Nawabi, is part of Muglai dishes, This is the Viceroy's take on a Nawabi dish, O.K. but not what I would expect
from the restaurants around here, I'll put a Geordie recipe up sometime, to show the difference.

If Ali wanted to promote his restaurant on here, he would have done it already, I think he must be happy with his website
and YouTube channel.

Didn't twig but if this is the case it's definitely not playing cricket.  Hopefully they won't pinch any off Chris.

I wouldn't worry as they have now had their account teminated by Youtube for 3rd party copyright infringements.

There's another one set up under the name 24FunnyTV.  This one has at least 3 of Mick's videos renamed as "Indian Street Food".
