Very nice Garp. Rice or naan with that? Plan to do a chasni when I get around to the Glasgow base gravy.

Very nice Garp....
Ayr, and those fritters certainly look the business. :)
Plan to do a chasni...
No need to use the so-called "Glasgow base", Rob. I thoroughly recommend trying loveitspicy's Chicken Chasni (http://www.curry-recipes.co.uk/curry/index.php/topic,8638.msg76690.html#msg76690) with a standard base. TA equivalents (at least, around here!) don't even come close IMHO! I substitute my own chilli jam for the chilli powder, but otherwise I stick to spec and it produces a well-rounded and silky curry which can be as mild or as hot as you like it. :)

Thanks for that naga. Looks the business.
Mango pulp, ketchup, and a pinch of colour. My kind of cooking. 8)

I don't normally eat rice so just paratha for me. Would live to make naan but haven't found a satisfactory way of making it at home yet.

Hi Garp
Even though I've always liked Ketchup, Try as I might, I just cannot get away with ketchup in a curry. for me it just takes over and doesn't meld well.
I have to use Knorr Tomato Chilli or Desi Ketchup, which work better for my tastes.
I used this recipe for the content guide for Chasni, changed it to suit BIR style and half the cream, works well.

Paneer like Tofu is too basic for me, but there was a frying cheese I found and liked, still experimenting.
Also just bought the best frozen Parathas I've ever tasted, Ibco Brand, Plain Paratha.
Well worth a punt

Thanks for the info Chewy.
The paneer in the fritters is grated and mixed with chopped shallots and green chilli with some spices. They are quite a pleasant change.
