in my comments in youtube i mentioned i never had tikka to hand so i used my pre cooked chicken..i'm sure your chicken would not be white if you were to cook this yourself and you would obviously use chicken tikka pieces..The sauce its self is tikka flavoured..you need to try my pre cooked chicken the flavours are amazing..every one of my videos are from my takeaway where i work..Some people think my currys are regional thing but they are totally BIR..my methods in the past have been shot down in flames because it's alien to everything else that's on here..below is some videos of my base that we use in the takeway and my pre cooked chicken..This eliminates the use of mix powders..In Glasgow we don't use them we have all we need in the base and pre cooked chicken..spices need time to develop over a long period of time to get the maximum flavour..and not cooked for 7 minutes or more

probably get pelters again for my comments..take it easy on me lads i'm only trying to help..infact i don't even need to do this..why do i do it,, well..my wife thinks i'm mad

base sauce looks too thick, I prefer mine more like soup consistancy.

We're all chasing what's at the end of the rainbow Boaby.  We may be chasing differeny rainbows, but for some your postings are the pot of gold  so keep them coming mate.  For those that seek something else, yours will be an approved regional variation when they fancy a change.  Keep up the good work

thanks..Yeh you might be right about the regional thing but it's the only BIR i've tasted apart from the other base sauce thats' been available, so i don't really know any better..I've found my pot of gold after many years of searching, and only because i work in a Indian kitchen. If i can just get some other poor soul to the end of the rainbow then my job is done...My wife is playing the violin in the background..Anyway thanks for everything bud PS..As you probably know i got of to a rocky start when i first joined this site,,,I was only 2 weeks in the job and i thought i knew everthing..wrong ! A year down the line in the takeaway and my knowledge of indian cooking has improved enormously ,if i don't say so myself..I am still learning but slowly getting there..regards  Boaby
