Hi,
Just joined, and this looks like a great place to learn to cook great food.
I'm rapidly approaching 70, been a squaddy, copper and IT manager in my time. Have been an avid curry lover since I was knee high to the proverbial.
I've only just started cooking curries, my poor wife's kitchen is sure taking a beating, still, she does get time off now ???
I also like Japanese cuisine and have started out on Sushi, all fingers and thumbs, but what the heck, its all good fun.

Welcome Ender, it's always good to have more folk joining the forum. Have you had a look around at the recipes yet? There's lot of helpful members who will be more than glad to assist if you so wish. What's your favourite curry? I can't choose between a Madras and a Pathia!

Hi Stephen,
Yup, had a small look around, mainly on the sauces and gravies, just really looking forward to getting stuck in to try them. Think I'll start at number 1 and work my way down ;D ;D
Like you, cant really make up my mind as to which curry I prefer, just like them all really, but if pushed, I would have to say any type that have peppers and "things", right through to Japanese Katsu. (or is that taboo on a BIR site :-\

I have no knowledge of Japanese cuisine Ender and if you post recipes or pictures then I think you may be the first on the site to do so. There's been a recent thread on pizza which was quite popular. There's also a section on Chinese food. I can recall a thread on kebabs and Greek food so nothing is really taboo here.

Ok Stephen,
I just may have a think and post some of my faves.
