Title: Are Modern BIR's only good for meat curries?
Post by: DalPuri on April 15, 2013, 09:26 PM
With this new wave of recipes lately using spiced oil and stock from the pre-cooked meat pot in their curries, are the veg eaters missing out?
If you are ordering only prawn and veg curries will you be missing out on lots of flavour from the BIR/TA?

Cheers, Frank.  :)

I'm sure some places use that stuff in their vegetarian dishes nonetheless, which is not cool  :-\

No, especially if the Chickens cooked in the Garabi, like the good old days ;)

My wife's a vegetarian and believe me they can smell meat from a mile off.  They would certainly know if a dish contained a meat product.
