Hah, I know the feeling :-)
Something else: What's up with the new advert here ? That "starter pack" looks good, it just needs an aluminium pan for 5 more quid ;)
-
Indeed, it does. I'd go as far as say, a chef spoon too!

You just completed your payment.
Ordered. I'm essentially looking forward to the balti dishes, which I can't source locally.

Just watched Ade in Britain, he was in the kitchen watching a Balti being cooked in the first ever Balti house. :)
It'll be on ITV player later or in a day or so.
Ade in Britain
Series 2, Episode 18
Adrian Edmondson travels to the West Midlands to discover how overseas cuisine has influenced our tastes in the Balti Triangle. He visits a pork scratching factory, learns how to make goat's cheese and has a spin in a handmade British sports car.

This was the episode that shows the Balti being cooked.

p.s. make sure you use a UK postcode, e.g. sw19 1ee ;)

What, not SW1A 1AA ? Or would that count as treason and therefore be a capital offence ?!

Only an example Phil, saves people outside of the uk searching on google. ;)
Ahaa, wondered why that looked an odd postcode :)
Well, Madges postcode worked but also ITV then wanted to track my physical location. ;D
Best stick with Wimbledon. ;)

I'll stick to my trustworthy cb4 0fy ;-)

He also does Kedgeree at the end of the episode. MMMmmmmm. Missus makes it quite regularly.

bummer, it doesn't just take an arbitrary postcode, it checks where your connection is being initiated from and tells me it won't stream to my region.

How about that expat shield that was posted recently?

Although I only quickly glanced at it, it seems to be windows specific, which I don't really use that much other than for recording myself playing guitar. I'll investigate it again later :)

Might this (http://hola.org/) be a possibility ? Recommended by Martin Pickering (Cretan resident) of Satcure fame.
It's now possible to watch BBC iPlayer and ITV for free.
Download and install Firefox. Update to latest version.
Go to http://hola.org/ (http://hola.org/)
Download and install the Firefox and/or Google Chrome plugin.
You will now have a new smiley button (top right) on Firefox where you can select various "Players".
IMPORTANT: This software uses your computer, when you don't, to feed shows you have watched to other viewers. In other words, it uses a "peer to peer" system. This means that, if enough computers are on-line, you should experience far fewer "buffering.. please wait" interruptions (in theory). However, it might also store web pages that you have visited and serve them to other users in the same way. This means that there's a teensy risk to your privacy (think "on-line banking").
Consequently, I recommend that you use a different browser for banking, Paypal, etc.
Frankly, this is just common sense anyway!
