I prefer a bit more sauce but they don't look too bad. Of course it'll be the taste that's the clincher.

Well, OK, they taste of /spicy/ potatoes, but a very different flavour to what you might think of as "curried potatoes".  That is, they will be sufficiently different in flavour to your main course that you will instinctively ask yourself "I wonder which spices they used to make this [1] ?  It's rather nice ...".  Sorry that that is so vague : your best bet is to treat yourself to a portion and then you will know for sure.

Panch phoran plus additions (e.g., chilli, turmeric, ...  maybe even hing !).

They look nice to me although I love Bombay Potato's. I'll definitely be giving the book a whirl. With the amount I've spent on magazines and cookery books in my life time, I'm sure another one won't make a difference and if I learn something new and its all in one place, I'll be happy.

On a similar note, I would like to see an ebook done by the more senior members who can knock out nice stuff containing their best 'House Specialty' dishes and sell it with the proceeds going to cancer research or some other worthy charity. A section on cooking large amounts (50 - 100) would be good (that would be you 976bar, your Uni nights always look fantastic). I would buy that book as well.

What a great idea, and how nice to see altruism at the fore.  If the book is to be multi-ethnic I will gladly contribute "Chicken with chilli & black bean sauce" and "Chicken with chinese mushroom in oyster sauce".  Once upon a time I would have offered paella and arroz con pollo e con pesce, but my Spanish skills are now so rusty that I am no longer convinced I can replicate them.

I'd happily pay money for a booklet of recipes from this site, all bound together, I keep losing track of what it was I was planning on cooking next, and have to keep checking back to the forum or my illegible notes if I'm doing a curry.

I can't offer much umm, corned-beef hash

I'd like to see the  "Chicken with chilli & black bean sauce" recipe, too.

Yes Gazman, i have to make everything that's in the book. I have to make as written, to make sure the book is right.
If i didn't rate it highly i would not be doing a book.

I think RubyDoos comments were done in jest in a cheeky attempt to reveal the recipe
in my opinion due to the smiley at the end  :)
