Is it ok to cook a base to the stage before adding the spices and toms then cooling before carrying on with it again later? Got one on now have to go out unexpectedly. :-\
Yes, if your cooking in an Ali pot, it will continue to cook and still probably be warm when you get back.
Sorry Chewey. I didn't make that clear perhaps. What I meant was, can I cook up until the bit before I ad spices etc but then stop, let it cool completely then start over again and carry on again later having started from a cold mixture?
Can't see any probs with that.
