Eaten at the Viceroy a number of times as im from Caerphilly too.

We are blessed here with the Castle Gate, Cinnamon Tree and bombay blue all being excellent :D

The bombay blue is the newest,all very good but in my opinion for any madras or vindaloo its the Viceroy!! ;)

I am not far from you guys!! I used to work in Ystrad Mynach and been to the Viceroy a couple of times!! Agree,very nice restaurant.

Bombay Blue, The Cinnamon Tree all good places!

In Cardiff there are so many good restaurants to try. Here are my faves.......

India Gate in Whitchurch (Non Vegi Thali for ?11 !! - Fantastic! )
Duboraj in Rhiwbina (Fantastic Chicken Kholapuri)
Mango House in Westgate St. (Central) - Mango Peri-Peri!!! OMG!!
Cinnamon Tree in Pontcanna (I thought this was nicer than the Rhydfelin one)
Spice Quarter (Brewery Quarter, Central)
Spice Island (Newport Rd, Llanrumney)
