Growing chilies in a greenhouse.

I have bought a greenhouse to grow chilies in, do i need to put anything on the in side i.e some sort of diffusion material so they don't get the full sun?

You're alittle late this year for chillie growing, unless you can buy some plants well on there way
You should start the seeds off in April/May depending on the variety
I normally get the seeds going on an indoor window sill then when they have been sprouted for a couple of weeks, I move them to a greenhouse
Most chillie plants  will stand a greenhouse heat as long as they dont dry out
Mine are starting to be ready to harvest, picking chillies may carry on for at least another month
If left, some chillies turn from green to red

in my limited experience, I had fruit on the plants and always picked them when green and left them approx 2-3 days then they turned red.

for some reason they never turned red on the plant, no matter how long i left them ????

Last Year I grew Chillies on my kitchen windowsill and only got a small bit from a red one and my god so hot and it took hours for the pain to go.
Never grown them since

Got 5x Apache chilli plants from DT Brown online - delivered 5th May.  One was obviously stronger than rest and is already flowering with chillies forming.  All are in various stages of growing with flower buds showing just on rest.  All have been treated in same way.  One plant is perfect  - other 4 are showing yellowy curled leaves in varying quantities - but will produce chillies.

Yellow / curled leaves on 4x plants on closer inspection had some kind of bug on them on underside - very tiny.  Cut the leaves off and rubbed out bugs I could see.  Strange how one plant completely unaffected.  All now growing strongly and producing chillies - kept outside so far.
