Geordie Curry Competition

Thought this might interest you guys, some of the Chef's I know
battle it out, in the Council run Curry Chef Competition 2011.

The funny thing was, they all can easily feed a 100 people on a busy night
yet creating one 3 course meal from scratch in competition, the pressure was really on!

(All flapping like a tanner comic) good old geordie expression. ;D

great to see good chef's creating instead of just serving out the regular dishes - forget Mr Ramsay and alike - brilliant - liked the soundtrack too! but is the end tune the one from Backdraft?

I clean forgot about this, was a really good laugh that day.
The video was captured by someone from the college, with a tiny camcorder.
I'll be going to the regional final with Kohinoor next month, should be fun. ;D

very good :-) does anyone know where i can get
the white small sauce cup/pot at 4:46 sitting in the
centre of the clip. I have had it served with mint sauce for starters
and its a great idea, easy to pour instead of using spoons etc.

I have been after one for ages but could not find it anywhere
any suggestions welcome :-)
