And we wonder why we can't that BIR flavour..I've read countless post from members saying they can't get currys to taste the same as their takeaway..well have a look at this video and you will see the reason why..ottis

The way i see it Phil,, not unless you are working on a day to day basis in that kind of environment we will never obtain these skills or have the ability to cook like these guys..We can impress our friends to no end but that's about it..It's in their blood not ours..This is just my opinion of the whole BIR debacle..I've heard there's another site for Indians trying to find out how British people get that chip shop flavour, but to be honest they will never be as good as us..lol.. It's in our blood ....ottis

Don't hang about doing an order do they?  Great team-work.  Haven't watched it all yet but really nice footage. Well spotted.  Seem to be using oil for some dishes rather than veg ghee?

Excellent find,I could watch these things all day.They make it look so easy.I take it the tin on the stove contained some sort of spiced oil from which he took a spoonful now and again.

Best video I have seen in a while.

Totally stripped back to basics.  There are so many people out there selling ebooks and spouting off about secret techniques.  It is clear that its just experience that delivers.

Nice to see that you don't need a poncy ali TA pan to be a good cook, and a poncy ali TA pan doesn't make you a good cook :)
