Bangladeshi Naga, five for a pound.

Five for a Pound
Couldn't resist buying these Naga's this morning.
Ripe and the biggest I've seen for a very long time.
At 20p each, cheap enough for me and a lot less hassle then trying to grow any.
Been watching H4ppy Chris's growing chilli vids with interest.

Anyhoo, You'd think I knew better, but they looked so tempting with their vibrant colour.
RED = Danger, RED = Warning, Doh.!!
Yes you guessed it, I took a nibble off a tip of one. ::)

OMG, about 10mm worth in the side of my mouth. Instant Botox, chewed it a couple of times
then spat it out, instant fire and what felt like swelling, inside my left cheek, tongue and lips.
It lasted for about 30 mins, then changed into a warming glow.

Anybody that can munch on these is crazy, but gets a quirky kind of respect from myself. 8)

Will make a Naga Murgh tonight and I think a quarter of a Chilli should be ample.

cheers Chewy

You were duty bound to try a nibble, Chewy - I know I would've! :)

I once ate a 1mm piece of scotch bonnet, so I can't even imagine the pain a naga would've caused!

Those chillis have got sex appeal ;D  A couple of them would go down very well in my phall along with a few of the other green ones.  I must try and get some nagas from somewhere ???
